Gameball thumb

First time trackball user here.
I love the gameball thumb. Very smooth and the reason for buying this one is the wide range of dpi. All the other ones I ordered and sent back, didn't have that. I can't wait for the new trackball to come out. Will definetly order this one for home use and keep the thumb for work.

Didn't take as long to get used to using it for general use. Gaming is taking a bit longer. Howecer I highly recommend raw accel (windows) and xmouse for better acceleration curves and keybinds. The company even suggests the same thing on their support page. This mouse has won me over to trackballs. Now i just need as close to a 12 btn mmo mouse in trackball form, lol.

Over all happy with gameball thumb. Ball didn't feel as smooth (felt twitchy) as i would have liked so changed it out for a older Logitech ball and it seemed to fix it.
i do kind of miss the third clicker on my old EX-G pro. i did love it . But had to change ball on it as well.

A Unique and Practical Thumb-Style Trackball That Glows – Love It!

I’ve been using the GameBall Thumb for about two weeks now, and I’m very happy with it overall. I ordered it directly from the manufacturer’s website (had to go through a forwarding service since it’s not officially sold in Japan), and although it took a while to arrive, it was worth the wait.

What I love:

First of all — it glows! The lighting around the trackball looks great and adds a unique touch to my setup.

There's a dedicated button to instantly switch DPI to the lowest setting, which is incredibly useful when switching between precise tasks and regular use. Most devices require reconfiguring settings each time, so this is a huge plus.

It supports both wired and wireless connections. I usually use it wired with my desktop, but I can easily switch to wireless and use it with my laptop when needed — super convenient.

Minor issues:

When using it wirelessly (on battery), the lighting sometimes lags or doesn't turn back on quickly after the device wakes from idle. I assume it's a power-saving feature, but it can be a little inconsistent.

Button-wise, it has the basics covered: left/right click, scroll wheel, forward/back, DPI switch, lighting toggle, and a “slow DPI” button — but I personally wish there was one more customizable button for extra flexibility.

Overall rating: 5/5.
Frankly, just the fact that it's a glowing trackball already makes it a rare and valuable find. If you're into trackballs and want something both stylish and functional, this is an easy recommendation.
