A smooth experience

I'm loving the gameball a ton, I'm super impressed with the quality for such a small operation, I'm pretty deep into the mouse enthusiast-zone and the build completely holds up to the price.

I was a bit iffy with the sensor not being specifically listed, and frankly I'm privileged to be used to 8000hz polling and all those things "high end" mice have, but the gameball performs perfectly for quick flicks, tracking, or slower precise clicking.

I have mobility issues in my right arm and hand, and it makes it so I have an option for gaming when I'm in pain (or just when I feel like it, it's very fun).

my only slight problem in terms of personal usage is that I have smaller hands, so pressing right click for sustained amounts of time (ADS-ing in a game or something) can be a little uncomfortable.

had some issues as I initially received units with minor defects, but Eric was very quick and friendly getting them sorted, and I ended up with a great product I'd happily recommend to anyone on the fence about getting one.

The ball itself is probably the smoothest I've used, despite also being the smallest. Very little sticktion.
Unfortunately the unit still ends up feeling needlessly large in my hand due to all the space used for the scrollpads. I feel like they should have implemented drag-scrolling instead, like on the ploopy adept.
In addition to this - the buttons are all sideways, and require significant force to activate. This causes hand strain and also throws off your aim when you hold right click to ADS in any FPS game.
Also the low DPI / sniper button is positioned too awkwardly so I never end up using it.
If we had some small paddles with vertical action for right clicking - right where the scrollpads are now - I feel like this would be the perfect trackball.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. Feedback like this helps.
Sorry GameBall wasn't a good fit for you. We offer a 30 day money back guarentee if needed.

fantastic product, finally a gaming grade trackball

Service is absolutely fantastic, delivery was fast an handled promptly.
Package is minimal, just how I like it nowadays. No vaste.
The product itself is well designed and the components are of good quality (best quality among all trackballs I have tested, Kensington among them).
So all in all, happy, couldn't have asked for anything better.

The best trackball I have used. I use it for about 10 hours a day.

I keep this set up directly in front of me and use it with two hands. I am a software developer, and I basically have my hands touching this track ball for 8 to 10 hours a day. It is extremely smooth and lightweight. Since it takes almost no effort to roll the ball or perform a scrolling action fatigue is mild at the end of the day.

While there are a lot of buttons for the device, they're not programmable to a large extent. There is right and left click and page back and forth. You can flip them from right-handed to left-handed. This is not as big a deal as I thought but it is something to be aware of.

I also have Kensington orbit and Kensington Pro. The orbit is very nice but they break after about a year. The pro is very heavy and it's hard to use all day.

The design of the buttons is very clever. They're very large and you can click them from multiple places and hand positions. You can also touch the buttons from the top of the device.

I also like the capacitive scroll wheel. You just touch the device to scroll. There's no resistance. You can switch the scroll to be fast or track your finger.

I recommend this to anyone, but if you've had a cheaper trackball you will be able to appreciate how much better this one is.

Fantastic

Ive been using it for the past day for work and my only complaint is that I have a hard time replacing my finger on the right click button since my fingers move to use the ball. Satisfied otherwise.
