Awesome trackball

Very smooth and ergonomic. I wish it had multiple connectivity like the sibling ProtoArc EM01 NL, but the pros of this trackball outweigh that.

Best Trackball I've Ever Used

Don't look any further. This is it. I've been a MX Ergo trackball user for years, but I've finally found an alternative to dethrone it. The Gameball Thumb feels very similar to the logitech equivalents but has a substantially improved polling rate for gaming. On top of that it's $60 cheaper without sacrificing on quality.

Thank you Elley for the review.

Finally free of Logitech!

I've gone through three Logitech MX Ergo trackball mice now. It's almost like clockwork, every two years the buttons start to stick, the responsiveness degrades, and I get frustrated. I have disassembled them, cleaned them inside and out, taken pristine care of them, they still fail like clockwork. Once the news came out that they were talking about charging a monthly fee for features, I knew I wanted to ditch them whether or not they actually made it happen. I don't mind paying for a quality device but I abhor planned obsolescence and obviously greedy cash grabs. Since it was half the price and the reviews were good, I decided I'd give the Gameball Thumb a go. It's slightly lighter-weight than the MX Ergo but the build quality is solid. The ridges on the palm rest are a nice touch and if you're used to the Ergo, the feel is immediately comfortable and intuitive. Honestly the only thing I found I missed from the Ergo was the cheap piece of rubberized plastic they ship with it to act as a wedge so you can increase the height of the trackball and the tilt. Other than that, it's perfect. It was nice to have a device that just plugs in and works. I also like that it doesn't try to immediately install a software package as soon as my system has access to the internet. Gaming with it has been excellent, the performance and responsiveness is actually better than the Ergo ever was. The tl;dr - it's a solid trackball and does what it's supposed to do and works natively through my KVM on all of my hodgepodge systems. If it lasts longer than the 2 years I was getting out of my Logitech trackball mice, I'll be super happy but even if it doesn't, I don't think I'll ever go back to using Logitech again.

Thank you Noah for the support and feedback.
