Ball is good, touchwheel is not

I had an Elecom Huge that has failed, which worked OK after a lot of modification. I was hoping the Gameball would fix those issues. It did, BUT

The picture of the device had a physical scroll wheel in the middle. The device I received had a touchpad immediately adjacent to the ball well for scrolling. This thing is poorly implemented. You cannot control the amount it scrolls (or which direction) easily. Worse, if you finger touches the mouse while moving the trackball ball, it hits the touchpad and scrolls (in games this typically changes weapons). It driving me nuts

If this was $35 or less, it would be a minor gripe. For a $200 device, this is unacceptable.

Apologies for the confusion. I am not sure where you saw a model with a physical scroll wheel. Very early on in development we had a physical wheel, but that was years before release. The scroll pad isn't for everyone and takes some time to get used to.
We have a 30 day refund policy for customers that are not happy with it.

Thanks
Eric

Best trackball to date!

I’ve owned multiple trackball mouse’s for gaming but the Gameball is hands down the best! It’s molded to fit your hand perfectly, All buttons are easily accessible and the trackball is so smooth and placed perfecly. 10000/10 reccomend!

Comfortable, but tough thumb buttons

Overall I loved the feel of it. The shape was great, and the button placement is nice. That being said, the thumb buttons are a bit in the tougher side to click, and as I was mostly using this mouse for 3D modeling it started to bring on thumb pains several hours in

almost great

i got gameball because gaming with a mouse was getting really hard on my shoulder. i am happy that i got the gameball but it can be significantly improved.

cons: the touch-scroll gets me killed a lot. its very easy to accidentaly touch the scroll area next to the ball, and that switches weapons in my game. I wish i could turn it off.
another issue is the buttons are too stiff. they need to be light to facilitate aim tracking while firing. the bottom two buttons are just forward and back hut for games id like to be able to map them to whatever.
the unit is pretty light, so unless you get some sticky feet or screw it down somwhow, its gunna slide as you try to squeeze those biytons.
keepnin mind it will break in a bit after a while. these are out of the box issues.

pros: reaponsiveness of the ball is excellent. parkour and snap aiming is much easier. the hardware settings that you can switch with the buttons is nice dont need to have any software which makes it super portable.

Brilliant ball

HI
I used to use a Logitech trackball that was good for left handers, but once they ended the line I was lost, I nearly went for a Kingston trackball at £70 only because I thought £150 for the gameball was a bit steep but I took the plunge and went all in and i’m glad I did.
once I switched the buttons it fit perfectly and works really well.
Only two things the two main buttons I think they are concave to much they might have been better if they where convex , and the price I still believe it’s a bit high but being a lefty well I have to pay it because there is no other choice.
All in all Brilliant ball cheers and thanks.
